PRECEDENT ANALYSIS: Charlotte field trip
To get a feel for the inside of a skyscraper, we toured the Duke Energy Building in Charlotte. Obtaining a LEED Platinum certification. Sustainable: features include; 85% water efficient, 22% energy efficient VOC material content, green roof, alternate transportation, bike racks, showers, mothers room, brownfield site, FSC certified, recycling areas, and tenants required LEED certification.

Our firm paired into teams of two in search of precedent buildings. Analyzing building shape, form, structure, and content. We created circulation and site diagrams to illustrate the significances of the proximity, spacial distances and flow.
